Our Mission
A letter from Dr. San
Dear friend,
I never imagined my work would be described as a mission. For many years I simply tried to be a good practitioner — to listen carefully, to advise honestly, to care for people well. But somewhere along the way I realised that the people sitting across from me were carrying more than their symptoms.
They carried loneliness, fear, exhaustion, grief. Many of them carried a faith that had grown quiet. And I came to believe that true wellness must make room for all of it — the body, the mind, and the soul together.
So this is what I offer: professional health guidance, given prayerfully. Time that is unhurried. A table where you are welcome, whatever you believe and wherever you are on the road.
Thank you for reading. If you are weary, come and rest a while. If you would like to serve, come and walk with us. Either way, you are welcome here.

The Calling
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Jeremiah 29:11
It did not begin with a plan. It began with a quiet conviction, early one morning, that health and faith were never meant to be kept in separate rooms.
Dr. San heard it as a calling: to tend the body as a gift, and to tend the soul as the body is tended — patiently, attentively, with love.
Every calling carries a cost and a consolation. For Dr. San, the cost was a familiar career path; the consolation has been every person met along the way since.

The Preparation
“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.”
Colossians 3:23
Years of professional health training — clinical study, nutrition, the long discipline of listening well — were joined to years of prayer and Scripture.
Preparation was not a waiting room. It was the slow forming of hands that could serve with both skill and tenderness.
Competence is a form of love. To serve someone well is to have prepared well for them, long before you ever meet.

The First Step
“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”
Galatians 6:9
The first person was an elderly neighbour in NW6 — tired, alone, managing an illness without anyone to walk beside her.
Weekly visits became meals, then gentle exercise, then prayer at her kitchen table. She grew stronger. So did the calling.
Every mission is made of single steps taken faithfully. There is no grand beginning — only the next person, and the next.

The Work
“Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.”
Matthew 25:40
Health coaching. Wellness programmes. Nutrition guidance. Spiritual and physical care offered side by side, never one at the expense of the other.
The work is professional and it is prayerful. It treats each person as whole — a body to be cared for and a soul beloved by God.
Healing rarely arrives in one moment. It is cultivated, like a garden, through attention and seasons and grace.

The Community
“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”
Matthew 18:20
Churches, care homes, families, small groups in living rooms across London — the work is held by community, and returns to it.
Around a shared table, wellness becomes something we practise together rather than something we achieve alone.
No one heals in isolation. We were made for one another, and the table is where that truth becomes visible.

The Invitation
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28
The door is open. To those who are weary, to those who wish to serve, to those who simply want to pray alongside others.
Volunteers, partners, and friends are invited to join the work — however small the offering.
An invitation is not a demand. Come as you are; bring what you have; it will be enough.

The Blessing
“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you.”
Numbers 6:24–25
Every visit, every programme, every conversation ends the same way: with a blessing, and a sending out.
We are not the source of healing. We are carriers of it, sent gently back into the world.
To bless is to wish someone the fullness of life. It is the oldest and simplest form of care.

The Foundations
Faith
Everything begins in prayer. We serve because we have first been loved, and we carry that love into every conversation, visit, and programme.
Health
Grounded in professional training and evidence, our guidance is practical, safe, and patient — care that respects the body as a gift.
Service
We go to people where they are: homes, churches, care homes, and online. Service is not a transaction; it is a way of life.
“Soli Deo Gloria — to God alone be the glory.”
